Dynamic Environment Manager – Upgrade Application Profiler to v. 2412

Welcome to my Omnissa Dynamic Environment Manager series. In this session I will describe how I upgraded the Omnissa DEM Application Profiler to v. 2412. As I use my Application Capture VM for this, I make sure to do this upgrade together with the App Volumes Tools.

I start out by downloading the installation media from Omnissa Customer Connect

Before I start the upgrade, I verify the installed version and build

I extract the downloaded “Omnissa-DEM-Enterprise-2412-10.14.zip“-file and launch the executable “Omnissa DEM Application Profiler 2412 10.14 x64.msi“ from the Optional Components folder

When the Omnissa DEM Application Profiler Setup Wizard launches, I accept the license terms, Next…

I confirm the destination folder, Next…

Upgrade…

Once the installer finishes, click Finish…

Once the installer has upgraded the DEM Application Profiler, I verify the installed version

I finish up by shutting down the Application Capture VM and take a snapshot. This concludes my session about upgrading the Omnissa DEM Application Profiler. This also concludes my upgrade of the DEM components in my LAB.
