WORK IN PROGRESS!!!
Welcome to my FOG Server series. Before I can proceed with installing FOG Server I’m going to do a little configuration of the operating system. This first thing I’ll do is to set a permanent IP-Address on the server. This I do in the /etc/network/interfaces file.
Next I reboot the server and test name-resolution from the Ubuntu server
As we can see, the domain servers answers when pinging the hostname, which suggest correct name-resolution and port openings.
