VMware App Volumes – Upgrade Templates to v. 2203

Release date: June 11th 2022

Welcome to my VMware App Volumes series. In this session I will describe the steps I took to upload the new App Volumes templates that came with the new version. According to VMware’s official documentation, Update sequence for Horizon 7, Horizon 8, and compatible VMware products (78445), this task should be done last in an upgrade sequence, as shown below.

In App Volumes Manager I click Configuration from the top menu.

Next, I click the Storage tab and the Upload Templates button

I select the templates I want to update and click Upload…

This completes my upgrade of the VMware App Volumes Templates and the App Volumes upgrade.
