Welcome to my VMware Horizon series. In this session I will describe how I upgraded my VMware Horizon setup to v. 7.8

Prior to upgrading Horizon, I check out VMware Product Interoperability Matrices to see that my planned upgrade path is supported.
The procedure normally used for upgrading is as follows
- Upgrade Composer (If in use)
- Upgrade Connection servers
- Upgrade GPO-Bundle
- Upgrade VMware Horizon View Agent in template and redeploy pools
- Upgrade Clients
As I also have User Environment Manager, App Volumes and JMP set up in my lab, I will upgrade these components as well, posted below:
- Upgrade User Environment Manager to 9.7.0
- Upgrade App Volumes to 2.16
- Upgrade JMP to 7.8
