Welcome to my VMware Horizon series. In this session I will say a very few words about upgrading Horizon clients.
Upgrading the Horizon Client is the last step in upgrading a Horizon environment. As the Horizon Client is distributed in all kinds of different ways to users, GPO, application deployments, scripts, I won’t og into this now.
In my lab, I use the Horizon Portal to distribute clients, as show in my session about local client repository, posted here: VMware Horizon – Create local Horizon client repository. So, in my case, if I were to upgrade my client distribution-point, I would upgrade my client repository on my connection servers.
