VMware Horizon – Create Manual RDS Farm for existing RDS-server

Welcome to my VMware Horizon series. In this session I will describe how to create a manual RDS Farm with an existing RDS-server.

Log into Horizon View Administrator, from the menu on the left, click Resource – Farms

Click Add… from the top menu

Choose «Manual Farm», Next

Give the Farm a descriptive ID and Description, configure the Farm settings as needed, Next.

Select the RDS Host we prepared previously for this session, Next.

Click Finish to complete this wizard and create the new Farm.

The new RDS Farm is created and available in Horizon View Administrator
