Welcome to my VMware Dynamic Environment Manager series. In this session I will describe how I upgraded the VMware DEM Manager to v. 9.11.
I first log in to my DEM management server, browse to the temporary folder where I downloaded the VMware-DEM-9.11-GA.zip file and extract it.
I start the upgrade by clicking the VMware Dynamic Environment Manager 9.11 x64.msi file
When the VMware Dynamic Environment Manager Setup Wizard launches, Next…
I accept the license terms, Next…
I confirm the destination folder, Next…
Select the VMware DEM Management Console feature, Next…
Upgrade…
Once the installer finishes, click Finish…
This concludes my session about upgrading the DEM Manager to v. 9.11. I can now proceed with upgrading the GPO-bundles, posted here: VMware DEM – Upgrade GPO Templates to v. 9.11
