From time to time, customer asks me about VMware functionality that I seldom or never implement. This time the challenge was, loosely put, to set up cross site access to VMware Horizon desktop pools. I had a vage idea about how to solve this with VMware Horizon Cloud Pod Architecture, but I wanted to test this using VMware Horizon 8 build 2103 in my lab first.
